About
Ezra Deaton is a data engineer at SEQTEK, focused on building the systems that get data where it needs to go, reliably. That means designing data models and writing SQL, building ETL processes in SSIS, and working directly in SQL Server environments on replication, performance and platform migrations. Ezra likes stepping into a complex client environment, mapping out how everything connects, and making it cleaner, faster and easier to trust.
Ezra is also strong on the analytics side, especially in Power BI and Tableau, and can take a project all the way from the raw data to the dashboard a leadership team uses. A degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in accounting helps connect the technical work to what the business actually needs. What makes the work meaningful is building a data foundation solid enough that people stop questioning the numbers and just use them.
